Caladium lindenii 'Magnificum'...I have been waiting years to have these available so I am super excited to have managed to get such marvellous specimens! I only have 8 available! (I really want to keep one but have restrained myself lol) The Caladium lindenii 'Magnificum' was formerly known as the Xanthosoma lindenii and is one of the most beautiful rare aroids grown for her foliage.
Care: Humidity seems like the key to keeping these happy I have kept these in my grow house with the humidity around 80-95% don't worry if you haven't got a grow house or tent I would mist daily and would suggest placing her on a moist pebble tray also grouping houseplants together will help raise humidity as well as a humidifier. Keep the soil moist like all Caladiums. The Caladium lindenii prefers bright to partial shade, watch out for direct hot sun as it will burn her beautiful leaves!
Size: Pot Diameter 14cm - Total height is approximately 26-30cm
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans, so keep out of reach from little and furry legs!
Difficulty: Medium to hard, depending on your environment
Feeding: General, the majority of houseplants should be fed every 2nd watering during the growing season (Spring and Summer), for me, it's about which every 14 days. In autumn and winter, I feed less, as indoor plants will require fewer nutrients.
