Calathea fasciata 'Borrusica'... This is such a beautiful Calathea and very rarely offered. She is a stocky girl with large and round leaves. Each leathery-textured leaf is veined with light green and generally shows alternating bronze-green bands. Her underbelly is deep blood red!
Care: Keep the soil moist at all times but not soggy. I've been watering about once a week so the soil dry's out a little. Providing your Calathea with a good level of humidity can really help them flourish also help stop their tips from going brown and crispy! You can help raise the humidity by misting regularly, placing your plants on a moist pebbles tray also grouping your plants closer together or even a humidifier.
Size: Pot Diameter 12cm - Total height is approximate 35cm
Toxicity: This plant is non-toxic to cats and dogs.
Feeding: General, the majority of houseplants should be fed every 2nd watering during the growing season (Spring and Summer), for me, it's about which every 14 days. In autumn and winter, I feed less, as indoor plants will require fewer nutrients.
