Dracaena surculosa 'florida beauty'...These are just lovely This plant grows and looks like bamboo but it is actually a Dracaena! The leaves are dark green with spotty cream and yellow splashes. New leaves appear as tightly rolled cones and unfurling to show beautiful creamy yellow markings.
Care: I like to give mine an occasional shower to remove dust. Dracaena surculosa florida beauty need bright light, but should not be placed in direct sunlight this will burn the leaves. Good light will help keep the variegated leaves strong. During the active growth period (from early summer till autumn) water Dracaena surculosa moderately to keep the potting mixture moist, but never really wet. During the rest of the year water it only enough to prevent the compost from drying out.
Size: Pot Diameter 12cm - Total height is approximately 25cm
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans, so keep out of reach from little and furry legs!
Difficulty: Easy - More easy indoor plants
Feeding: General, the majority of houseplants should be fed every 2nd watering during the growing season (Spring and Summer), for me, it's about which every 14 days. In autumn and winter, I feed less, as indoor plants will require fewer nutrients.
