Homalomena 'maggy'...These are a really lovely elegant plant! I just love the long pinkish stems and beautiful heart shaped folage. Homalomena are the closers relative to the Philodendron family which mean they are super easy to care for!

Care: These generally like bright indirect light, can tolerate shade. Keep your plant away from direct sunlight as could burn and fade the foliage. I've been watering about every 7-10 days so the soil dry's out a little. When I water my plants I always check the soil first by sticking my finger about 3 cm down to check if it still feels damp I also tend to look underneath the plant at the drainage holes and if the soil is damp I hold off until next time. I generally feed all my plants once a month or weakly weekly.  Providing your plants with a good level of humidity can really help them flourish also help stop their tips from going brown and crispy! You can help raise the humidity by misting regularly, placing your plants on a moist pebbles tray also grouping your plants closer together or even a humidifier.

Other information:

Size: Pot Diameter 12cm - Total height is approximate 40cm

Toxicity: This plant is toxic to cats and dogs.

Difficulty: Medium

Feeding: General, the majority of houseplants should be fed every 2nd watering during the growing season (Spring and Summer), for me, it's about which every 14 days. In autumn and winter, I feed less, as indoor plants will require fewer nutrients.
