Philodendron squamiferum... These are one of my many favourites Philodendron for so many reasons. These beauts are super easy to care, fast-growing and very easy to propagate! They also have bright red hairy stems!
Request me and I will order some in :)
Care: These little guys prefer bright indirect light, they would also work well in a lightly shaded spot. Great in an office or if you want to fill a corner of your home! Direct sun will burn the leaves. I would always check if your Philodendron squamiferum needs watering first. Allow the top 2/3 inches of the soil to dry out slightly before watering keeping the soil moist but not soggy. Providing your plants with a good level of humidity can really help them flourish also help stop their tips from going brown and crispy! You can help raise the humidity by misting regularly, placing your plants on a moist pebble tray also grouping your plants closer together.
Size: Pot Diameter 13cm - Total height is approximately 40cm
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans, so keep out of reach from little and furry legs!
Difficulty: Easy - More easy indoor plants
Feeding: General, the majority of houseplants should be fed every 2nd watering during the growing season (Spring and Summer), for me, it's about which every 14 days. In autumn and winter, I feed less, as indoor plants will require fewer nutrients.
