This epiphytic cactus is known as Rhipsalis pachyptera, pachyptera which means with thick wings. Rhipsalis pachyptera it's native to southeast and southern Brazil. You will find the pachyptera growing along the jungle floor so these will require a little more humidity and not loads of light like other sun-loving cacti. Very easy to care for and rarely come available.
Care: Light - dapple to moderated shade, avoid direct sunlight. Water once the top 2-3 inches dry out, avoid the roots becoming to wet. The soil is well-draining and I would not suggest this needing re-potting until next year.
Size: Pot Diameter 13cm - Total height is approximately 30cm
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans
Difficulty: Easy peasy
Feeding: Once a week. In autumn and winter, I feed less, as indoor plants will require fewer nutrients.
Images: All images are updated regularly and are a true representation you what you will receive. However, the colour, leaf shape, pattens and variegation with all differ from plant to plant.
