I actually can't believe I've actually taken the plunge on this new business adventure!
Below is a little bit of info about me...
The ginger jungle was born...
It's taken me about 9 months to get to this stage and I'm super relieved that I am able to share my site with the world. I'm from a little village in Sussex, England called Hurstpierpoint it's basically just down the road from Brighton not far from the Sussex downs a beautiful and perfect place to set up my online houseplant business. I am actually a canine behaviourist and already run a quite successful dog training business and have done for the past 12 years. So how do I go from training dogs to selling rare plants I hear you ask...
It all started with me just buying one and then slowly over time my collection grow to over 400 plants!!! I'm sure many of you reading this can relate to this and yes I am quite proud of being a self-confessed plant addict lol
Pretty soon I started to realise that it was actually pretty hard to find houseplants that are on the rare side and I saw a good opportunity to try and make this easier for people here in the UK and the rest of Europe. So over the last nine months, I have been working hard in sourcing good honest suppliers (believe me this is not easy) from all over the globe.
Designing website, branding, packing designing, sourcing and looking after my stock and not forgetting keeping all my other houseplant alive (a few did not make it :( ) plus running my other business! I'm so excited that part is over and I can actually start selling but I suppose now the real work beings...
